DAUPHIN DINING ROOM SIDE CHAIR

In interiors, the quintessential French chair is the oval back dining chair. Pictured in drawings, paintings, described in textbooks and fiction alike, this was the “it” chair of the 1700’s. Our version, available with or without arms, has a tight seat and upholstered back carved in detail from Beech. It is not only a dining chair, but can be included in living rooms as occasional chairs or as a desk chair when needed. Fluted legs support a carved seat rain and oval back.
